dear(you); vol.1 — ten letters.

dear(you); vol.1 is ten ambient lo-fi tracks written as ten letters, each holding one feeling, in a fixed order: empathy, understanding, anxiety, reassurance, rest, connection, gratitude, recognition, hope, peace.

The album is ipe()’s debut concept album, “ten letters to the you who made it through another hard day.” None of the letters gives advice or asks for a promise. They only ask first, listen to the end, and stay.

It opens with a question — track 1, “Hard Day Again, Wasn’t It?” — and closes with comfort: track 10, “You Did So Well Today.” In between, track 3 admits “I Was Scared, Too,” because fear is acknowledged here, not fixed. Track 5, “It’s Okay to Rest a While,” sits exactly in the middle and is the quietest of the ten.

The sound follows the same path. The first letters are rain and a late-evening room; the middle ones warm up with human company; by track 9 the night begins to lift, and track 10 closes it with a slow piano. Lyrics and concepts start from an AI draft and are revised and reviewed by a person; the music is made with AI (Suno), and we say so.

dear(you); // you made it through

Every letter ends the same way, with a single whispered breath: “ipe. be still.” If you only have time for one, press play on track 5.

All ten are on idle.ipe.rest.
