Privacy policy.

The short version: this site collects basic visit statistics through Google Analytics and Cloudflare Web Analytics, remembers your language in your own browser, and keeps your email only if you write to us. It shows no ads and does not sell data.

1. Who is responsible

ipe.rest is operated by Davy Kim (ipe Studio), Seoul, as an individual. Questions about this policy or your information: ipe.haven@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

Visit statistics (Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are read. It records page views, the page you came from, your browser and device type, an approximate location (country or city) and clicks on links that leave our site (the link address only). It sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga, which can last up to two years) to tell visits apart. We do not ask for your name or email in analytics, and we cannot identify you from it. Google processes this data on our behalf, which can include servers outside Korea.

Visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics)

The home page also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused service that does not use cookies or track individual visitors across sites. It measures aggregate page views and page loading performance.

Redirect pages

Some links shared by the studio pass through a short redirect page before opening YouTube. These pages record which track code was opened and a rough source (app, social, other). They contain no personal text.

Stored in your browser

When you pick a language we save that choice in your browser’s local storage under the name ipe_lang. It stays on your device and is never sent to us. The site also keeps a cache of its own files so it can open quickly and work offline. You can clear both in your browser settings.

Email you send us

If you write to ipe.haven@gmail.com, we receive your email address and whatever you include. We use it only to reply and to handle your request, and we keep it as long as needed for that. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Hosting

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like any host, it receives technical request data such as your IP address; GitHub’s own privacy statement applies to that.

3. How we use it

To understand what is read and improve the site, to reply to your messages, and to keep the site working and secure. We do not use it for profiling, and we do not sell it.

4. Who else sees it

Google (analytics), Cloudflare (analytics) and GitHub (hosting) as described above. Links to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, SoundCloud, X and Facebook lead to services with their own policies. We do not share your information with anyone else except where the law requires.

5. Your choices

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same without them.
• Clear site data to remove your saved language and the offline cache.

6. Access and deletion

You may ask to see, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, or to restrict how we use it. Write to ipe.haven@gmail.com from the address you used. We reply within 10 days. Analytics data is not tied to your name or email, so we usually cannot find an individual in it; email correspondence we can locate and delete.

7. Advertising

ipe.rest shows no advertising. If ads are ever offered, they will appear only on idle.ipe.rest, and this policy will be updated first to describe the partners, the cookies they use and how to opt out.

8. Children

The site is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

9. Complaints

If you are in Korea, you can also contact the Personal Information Infringement Report Center (privacy.kisa.or.kr, 118) or the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (kopico.go.kr, 1833-6972).

10. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Current version: 2026-10-20.
